Created for Couples Who Value Meaning Over Excess
Our Story
Elm & Arbor was inspired by our own wedding journey.
In 2020, we exchanged our vows during an intimate elopement in the Adirondack Mountains. Surrounded by nature and a small circle of loved ones, the experience felt deeply personal, meaningful, and true to us.
Like many couples during that time, our original wedding plans changed due to COVID-19. When larger gatherings became possible again, we celebrated with a traditional wedding surrounded by family and friends.
Having experienced both, we discovered something unexpected: the most meaningful moments weren't defined by the size of the guest list. They were found in the quiet exchanges, the shared laughter, the happy tears, and the feeling of being fully present with the people who mattered most.
We also recognized a gap. Couples often feel they must choose between a simple courthouse ceremony or the complexity and expense of a large traditional wedding. We imagined something in between—a space that feels elevated and beautiful without losing the intimacy that makes a wedding so memorable.
That vision became Elm & Arbor.
Our hope is to provide couples with the sweet spot between elopement and traditional wedding: a thoughtfully designed setting where every detail feels intentional, every guest feels included, and every couple feels celebrated.
Whether you're planning a ceremony for two or sharing the day with your closest family and friends, we're honored to help create a wedding experience centered on connection, meaning, and joy.
Our Values
Connection
We believe your wedding day should be a reflection of your bond, not a performance for a large audience. We create space for the people you love, the words you share, and the moments you'll remember long after the day is over.
Simplicity
Our vision of simplicity isn't the absence of detail, it is the presence of intention. We thoughtfully remove the logistics and distractions of traditional wedding planning, leaving you free to be present for the moments that matter.
Meaning
At Elm & Arbor, meaning lives in the moments that happen between the big ones, the quiet anticipation, the vows spoken softly, and the people who matter most gathered close.
We create space for those moments to take center stage, because a wedding isn't measured by how much it holds, but by how deeply it is felt.
